Niagara Falls, Ontario – In a bold move to tackle Canada’s evolving job market challenges, the University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) has unveiled three new master’s programs focused on digital skills and industry needs. Announced recently, these 18-month offerings in applied social psychology, artificial intelligence, and health care leadership aim to equip graduates with practical expertise amid rising demands in tech, health, and human-centered fields.
The Master of Arts in Applied Social Psychology launches with an online intake in January 2026, emphasizing human skills like emotional intelligence and leadership to counter AI-driven job shifts. It prepares professionals for improving workplace dynamics and community well-being in digital economies.
Meanwhile, the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Master of Science in Health Care Leadership and Management will debut on-campus and online in September 2026. The AI program addresses a 37% surge in demand for machine learning and governance skills, while the health care initiative targets systemic issues like staff burnout and infrastructure strains, aligning with federal investments exceeding $200 billion.
Developed with industry partners, the programs offer flexible formats—on-campus, online, or hybrid—to attract diverse learners. Applications are open now, with details on admissions and scholarships available at unfc.ca.
UNF President David Gray hailed the initiative as “strategic investments in Canada’s future,” fostering leaders who “won’t just adapt—they’ll lead.”
Cyndi McLeod, CEO of GUS North America, echoed this, noting UNF’s commitment to expanding graduate options for economic growth.
This expansion brings UNF’s master’s lineup to eight, reinforcing its role in digital innovation.
