International students can apply to most Centennial College programs, many of which allow graduates to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). The Government of Canada issues the PGWP through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
IRCC recently published new PGWP eligibility requirements for students who apply for a study permit after November 1, 2024. These changes do not impact applicants who submitted their study permit application before this date.
As of November 5, 2024, the following programs are aligned with the IRCC priority labour market categories of agriculture and agri-food, healthcare, science/technology/engineering/mathematics (STEM), trade and transport.
