ILAC International College (ILACIC) and Tamwood Careers (TWC) are announcing important updates to their vocational programsoffered in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, in compliance with new admission requirement and credential guidelines issued by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. These changes reflect new minimum English language proficiency requirements and enhanced regulatory standards, effective January 1, 2025.ILAC International College (“ILACIC”) Programs with Admission Requirement Changes:

ILACIC will not be accepting enrollments in the following programs after January 1, 2025:
Communication and Service Essentials Certificate
Communication and Service Essentials Diploma with Co-op
Accepted Language Proficiency Tests: Beginning in January 2025, ILACIC will only accept external English proficiency tests approved by PTIB. The current list of accepted tests includes (more will be added as they are approved):
IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program)
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Test)
ILAC Pathway 2.2 Certificate
These changes do not affect ILACIC and Tamwood programs offered in Toronto, Ontario.
ILACIC and Tamwood Careers Toronto have PALs available and are currently accepting applications until January 20th, 2025, for programs starting before June 2025.
