Toronto Blockchain Community Scholarship Launches at George Brown College

George Brown College is pleased to announce the launch of the Toronto Blockchain Community Scholarship, a multi-year award that will provide financial support to students pursuing studies in blockchain development.

Beginning in Winter 2026 and continuing through Fall 2027, the scholarship will provide four awards of $2,500 each to full-time domestic students enrolled in the Blockchain Development (Postgraduate) program (T475) in the School of Computer Technology.

The one-year graduate certificate program is at the forefront of preparing graduates for careers in one of the fastest-growing fields in technology. Delivered in an intensive executive-style format, it combines classroom theory with project-based learning and culminates in either a mandatory co-op or a work-integrated project, providing students with valuable real-world experience. Participants gain practical expertise in blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and decentralized applications, equipping them for opportunities across industries such as fintech, healthcare, supply chain, and digital identity.
